May you all have a blessed day with family and friends. This year I’m extremely thankful that I’m here to celebrate another Thanksgiving with my family.
Let us not forget our military guys and gals who can’t be home with their families….say an extra prayer for their safety and well being. Also pray for our 1st responders and everyone in the medical field who are working to save lives and all law enforcement who also are working to keep us all safe.
O God, when I have food, help me to remember the hungry;
When I have work, help me to remember the jobless;
When I have a home, help me to remember those who have no home at all;
When I am without pain, help me to remember those who suffer,
And remembering, help me to destroy my complacency;
bestir my compassion,and be concerned enough to help;
By word and deed, those who cry out for what we take for granted.
