Well I started way back in 2005, detecting in and around northeast Alabama. I co founded a MD club by the name of the Southeast Treasure Hunters, it’s still going strong all these years later. As life changes, some times locations do as well, I now reside in Upstate South Carolina.
I’ve recently started another metal detecting club here, we are the Blue Ridge Metal Detecting Club based Walhalla SC. It’s hard to believe that I once stood on top of Cole’s Hill back at DIV 14, meeting and digging with some folks who love this hobby as much I do still today.
This hobby has taken me to many different states, and allowed to meet really fantastic friends along the way.
