Hi fellow treasure hunters and history seekers.  I have been metal detecting since the mid 1990’s, not counting when I had a very inexpensive detector at 10 years old in 1974.  I have detected in both Louisiana and Michigan.  Never really had the chance to detect a bonafide Civil War site.  I would love the opportunity to join a DIV hunt and have the privilege of walking Civil War sites and enjoying the camaraderie.  You never know what we might dig!
