Thanks, good idea. When you say connected, I presume you are running wire around all four bars; do you use copper to connect or is there a more conductive metal you would use?

Attached to the frag via the alligator clips that are on the charger. I had heard of someone else drilling a small hole and connecting the wires that way as well. I may try your screw idea on the next round.
There is a gold camp here in California that I go to frequently to mine for a week with other like minded individuals. At the last night there they were asking who had a birthday or an anniversary during the week. I raised my hand because it had been my anniversary…..the men were surprised I got a hall pass and the women probably thought I was a smuck for being a gold camp by myself during my anniversary. It is possible to have a good marriage and take separate vacations…..

I am curious if anyone used a Gold Monster or the 7000 at last week’s hunt?
I messed around with my 800 at the DIV 52/53. Ran it in Prospect 2 and was able to get a reading on a bullet down 6-8 inches (came in at -8). Problem is all the hot rocks were showing up the same so you didn’t know if it was a bullet or a HR. GPX was much better. Hard to translate from VDI numbers to fine tones. Took me most of the outing to feel comfortable with what I was hearing.
I sent you a check today for one shirt for each of the two hunts.

Is there an issue with the private forum for March’s hunt? I had no trouble viewing it this morning but later on when I checked the site I had been logged off. I logged in again and I wasn’t able to see the private forum. I know that I have already been confirmed as paid, released and carpooled so maybe it’s just a delay due to updating???

Where do we send entry fee monies and how much is the fee? Will we get some sort of FAQ packet or is it on the site somewhere? For lodging purposes where should we look to stay? Will there be some sort of “pre-game” get together the day before or will it just be “meet here and we will start hunting” Coming from California so I need to start making arrangements….thanks in advance.
